A prognostic Clinical Decision Support System, built on triangulation.
ACI is prognostic software built on Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) fundamentals. It is computational and deterministic, working on a triangulation model: the patient's condition is calculated by triangulating telemetry readings, biochemistry and imaging.
- Prognostic
- Computational
- Deterministic
- Advisory
A weighted average of telemetry at the basic level (each individual vital parameter) and the hybrid level (domain phenotypes and cross-domain phenotypes that combine vital parameters), plus the worst clinical score from biochemistry and from imaging, for the tests ordered against that specific condition. Each parameter is measured against the reference range for the patient's sex and age band.
Triangulates the telemetry and clinical test items listed by the internationally approved and recognised clinical tool for the condition, such as GRACE, HEART or SOFA, using that tool's own published rule. It runs on a 4-hour cadence, the observation practice hospitals already follow, and the tool is named on screen against every reading.
Two routes, two methods, one patient. Route A runs continuously; Route B follows the ward's 4-hour observation cadence. Both readings sit side by side, with the evidence and the cited source for each, and the difference between them is shown, never smoothed.

Evidence accumulates. The standard never moves.
Both routes triangulate telemetry, biochemistry and imaging, but by different methods. For each activated condition, ACI produces two readings and displays them side by side on a common 0–100 scale. They are never combined, averaged or reconciled into one value. Where they differ, the difference is shown as a stated quantity.
- Tier 1
Monitored parameters
Continuous physiological parameters from any compliant bedside monitoring source, scored as a composite within a fixed 80-point budget.
Up to 80 points - Tier 2
Biochemistry & laboratory
Graded Mild, Moderate, Marked or Acute on a disclosed sub-class ladder. The worst finding in the tier governs.
Up to 10 points - Tier 3
Diagnostic imaging
Graded on the same ladder as Tier 2. A study that excludes a structural cause counts as a valid finding scoring zero, not a missing result.
Up to 10 points
One architecture, multiple settings. The clinical standard never lowers.

Hospital in-patient · Phase 01
Hospital wards, high-dependency and critical care areas, for adult in-patients aged 18 and over.
- Every activated condition read by both routes, shown side by side
- Evidence builds in tiers: monitored parameters, then laboratory, then imaging
- Runs on-premise; patient-identifiable data stays inside the hospital
- 02
Hospital to home · Later phase
Post-discharge monitoring on a continuous sensor stream, carrying the hospital record forward.
- Continuous sensor stream after discharge
- Same thresholds as the hospital ward
- Discharge summaries and medication reconciliation carried forward
- 03
Care home · Later phase
Elderly residents with conditions across several domains, on an adapted domain subset.
- Adapted domain subset for the care-home population
- Pharmacy integration
- Advisory to the treating team throughout
- 04
Hospice · Later phase
A separate care setting with comfort-focused scoring on monitored parameters only.
- Tier 1 monitored parameters only, no imaging or laboratory
- Comfort-focused scoring in place of recovery scoring
- Kept separate from hospital palliative care

What hospitals ask first.
What kind of software is ACI?
A prognostic Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS). It is computational and deterministic: it triangulates telemetry, biochemistry and imaging by fixed, versioned rules, so the same inputs always give the same output and any score can be rebuilt by hand.
Does ACI replace clinical judgement?
ACI is advisory. It supports clinical decisions and never makes them. The treating physician keeps full decision authority, and no screen carries an autonomous action, an instruction or a directive.
Does our hospital need new hardware?
No. ACI is hardware-agnostic software that runs on general-purpose computing hardware within the hospital network. It reads data already generated in the patient's care through HL7 FHIR R4, DICOM and a continuous stream interface, and it makes no patient contact.
What happens when the two routes disagree?
Both readings stay on screen and the difference is shown as a stated quantity. Neither is presented as the correct one, and neither is adjusted to match the other. Agreement is informative, and so is disagreement.
Does ACI diagnose?
No. ACI reads only conditions a physician has activated for the patient. It does not detect, screen for or exclude disease, and it does not recommend an investigation or a treatment.
Who is ACI for?
Hospital in-patients aged 18 and over, read by physicians and nursing staff. Patients under 18 are not admitted to the system. NEWS2 is not valid in pregnancy or spinal cord injury, so in those cases the physician sets the baseline.
Is ACI a regulated medical device?
ACI is Software as a Medical Device. It is proposed as Class B under India's Medical Devices Rules, 2017, and as Class IIa under EU MDR Rule 11. It is designed to ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366-1 and ISO 14155.
