If your hospital uses ACI, it works alongside your care team, never instead of them. It shows your physician information; it does not make decisions.
ACI is advisory. It supports clinical decisions and never makes them. The treating physician keeps full decision authority, and no screen carries an autonomous action, an instruction or a directive. ACI does not make decisions about your care. It runs inside the hospital's own systems, and information that identifies you does not leave the hospital.
